True trump is both physically and mentally unfit right now.

Saying something many times doesn't make it any more logical or truthful. I've never actually considered myself a leftist. With my background in science I was critical of the impression that leftist policies were guided by empathy and feelings rather than data. I actually still think that. However, either by luck or otherwise, leftist policies are somehow more supported by the data, much more than the right wing. Conservatives have just mostly descended into ridiculous hallucinations and rantings that are so far from reality that I've somehow spent a lot more time arguing against them. If both sides were equally distant from reality, I'd spend equal time arguing against both. But they're not. And all this time, we're still waiting for any evidence that you're actually centrist.

    Antigen/antibody eh?

Yes. I'd bet she can walk down that same ramp better than Trump did. Not because she had her legs blown off - but because even with two prosthetic legs she's more coordinated and more confident than Trump.

No? How do you explain the extraordinary social progress made in your lifetime then? Why are you the ones hiding in the hill country while all the liberals are running the cities and the economy?

I didn't say it is the only possibly conclusion. I said it is my conclusion. Turns out one of the other possible conclusions, that right wing Americans are just too stupid to really understand anything, may have been discarded too hastily.

You say that, but the rest of your posting record shows the opposite to be true. This has been discussed before. To which you replied: Oh, but I am just trolling. To me that just says: I don't have the balls to stand up for what I really believe in. It is like Ron saying he doesn't understand why people think he is racist.

Sure, a 1% increase is only what? A thousand or 1200 more deaths. What the hell. Skydiving is important, we can’t afford to risk losing our opportunities for fun just to save the families of a few thousand tandem revenue generating customers.

Since illegal immigrants bother you so much, a simple solution is for Trump to order an end to counting them. Then the numbers will drop to zero.

Seriously? You 'haven't been paying attention'? So you don't realize, that with 4% of the world's population, the US has 25% of the deaths. You haven't been paying enough attention to realize that much of the industrialized world has this under control? That New Zealand has eradicated it? The main reason the US is so far behind is simply because Trump didn't do anything substantial for several weeks. He was waiting for it to "go away". He stopped travel from China (and proposed stopping travel from Mexico - remember that argument?) because they have dark skin. He DIDN'T stop travel from Europe, even when it was clear that Italy had a pretty severe problem... Because they were white. He 'fiddled while the corona burned' (and didn't even get that it was an insult). Now we're opened up. And it's spreading. The positive cases found today were almost certainly infected 2 or 3 weeks ago. So, even if we closed everything down again (and the Trumpettes won't let that happen), it will be 2 or 3 weeks of 40k+ new cases... EVERY DAY. Do the math. 17 days of 40k is... SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND NEW CASES. We're fucked. Thanks to Trump.

From two epidemiologists. They are, respectively, a research fellow in the department of infectious disease epidemiology at Imperial College, and the Chair of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. "On March 16, the White House issued initial social distancing guidelines, including closing schools and avoiding groups of more than 10. But an estimated 90 percent of the cumulative deaths in the United States from Covid-19, at least from the first wave of the epidemic, might have been prevented by putting social distancing policies into effect two weeks earlier, on March 2, when there were only 11 deaths in the entire country. The effect would have been substantial had the policies been imposed even one week earlier, on March 9, resulting in approximately a 60 percent reduction in deaths." https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/14/opinion/covid-social-distancing.html 60% of 127,000 is 76,000.

Uh . . . . 50,000 deaths, even 75,000 deaths, does not equal 127,952 deaths. You know that - right?

Irrelevant to the point. Seeking asylum IS legal. Just because you may not be approved doesn't make it illegal.

So Trump aided the enemy which led to the deaths of US military members during a time of war. That's treason.

From Mirage's public Facebook page: QUESTION: And how does it handle RSL-side riser release (without Collins Lanyard, obviously)? MIRAGE'S ANSWER: Mirage RSL's have always been built without an RSL side riser release system (Collin's lanyard). This is also true of the Trap System RSL. Every system has advantages and disadvantages and Mirage favors simpler designs whenever possible. A secondary riser release is not beneficial in every situation. For example: if the white type 2A loop that goes through the small 3-ring were to break while making final turns for landing, a secondary riser release would not be desirable since a partial canopy at low altitude will almost always be preferable to no canopy. Mirage builds its main risers with the RSL ring below the confluence wrap and grommet specifically to reduce the risk of an RSL side riser release (see image). If an RSL side riser release were to occur, the recommended procedure for either a standard RSL or a Trap System RSL is for the jumper to pull both the cutaway handle and reserve ripcord IF AND ONLY IF they are at a safe cutaway altitude. If they are below a safe cutaway altitude then it is up to the jumper to decide if they prefer to land only the malfunctioned main or pull their reserve also. Photo was attached: https://scontent-cdg.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/t31.0-8/11157429_830515283704092_770289413077792426_o.jpg QUESTION: What about a horse shoe mal where the container is open and pilot chute still in the BOC? MIRAGE'S ANSWER: Horseshoes are a dreaded malfunction. In the event of a horseshoe malfunction a jumper must decide whether to cutaway one half of the horseshoe in an attempt to provide more clear air for the reserve to deploy, or to deploy the reserve into the horseshoe. Most jumpers prefer to cutaway and then try to keep the still attached main from entangling with the reserve. Since an RSL is activated by the main risers disconnecting, if the jumper doesn't cutaway but instead only pulls the reserve ripcord, then the Trap System won't engage. If the jumper cuts away and the risers release, the Trap System would engage but may be unable to take the freebag to line extension if the main is still attached to the jumper. If the reserve pilot chute finds clear air and is generating more drag than the still attached main, the Trap System will release the bridle and allow the reserve pilot chute to finish the deployment. An example of a Trap release can be seen on the last jump of this video at 4:21. The reserve pilot chute quickly generates more drag than the bag-lock, so the Trap releases the bridle and the reserve pilot chute finishes the deployment.

The last jump in the video shows that the trap will disconnect if the RPC is generating more drag than the main. Hard to see, but I've attached the relevant frames.
