I live in a city and am an athiest and have a large extended network of friends who live in cities and are religious, athiest or nothing. I haven't seen such a group. I'm sure you did read something somewhere that said that and I'm sure there was some kind of super liberal party or even onetime that looks a lot like a revival. I've been to a few green energy festivals and seminars in New England that were full of people who we would both consider to be judgmental elitist liberal assholes, yes they exist. But these allegorical cases of people being fervent about what they think we should do doesn't mean they're wrong about what we should do, they're just annoyingly passionate. I'm sure even Thunberg's parents and thinking "Oh come, just take the damn airplane".

Hi folks, Re: 'Alex Jones ordered to pay $100,000' Well deserved: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50960730 It continues to amaze me than anyone actually listens to/believes these idiots. Jerry Baumchen

So far that's only contempt fines and legal costs to the plaintiff for timewasting. The case hasn't even gone to trial yet, so it's going to be more. Lots more.

Well, it's not quite that simple. Almost, but not quite. Comey was looking at the "Russia Connection". The current FBI 'model' of organized crime has changed. A lot. It's not a bunch of old Sicilian guys, extorting money through garbage & protection; selling drugs and illegal gambling. It's now "become international, fluid, sophisticated, and had multi-billion dollar stakes. Its operators were cross-pollinating across countries, religions, and political affiliations, sharing only their greed. They did not care about ideology; they cared about money. They would do anything for a price." And Trump is likely involved with it. So he had to shut down Comey and the FBI, or they might find out about his involvement. It's kind of funny. " In August 2018, national security and intelligence community expert Natasha Bertrand noted in The Atlantic that the FBI and Justice Department agents Trump attacked most relentlessly had one major similarity: “their extensive experience in probing money laundering and organized crime, particularly as they pertain to Russia.” Now, why would Trump go after people who are good at finding Russian mafia and money launderers? Hmmmm... Quotes taken from Heather Cox Richardson's FB post from 12/27: https://www.facebook.com/heathercoxrichardson/posts/2116122628531792?__tn__=K-R

Well Ron, that is how you see your particular religion. But there are many many more organized religions in the world. I’m willing to wager that you see almost all of them as mere superstition. Just the same as I see yours.

Organized religion is really nothing more than organized superstition. The advantage of it of course, organization. The disadvantage of it is that it can be misused like any organization.

I don't know how I missed this gem! I totally think you should kick out those fake weekend instructors like myself. Then you will have to hire more full time instructors to handle the weekend capacity, and you will have to share more of your weekday jumps. The math will totally work out in your favor, trust me I am certified public accountant who pretends to be a skydiving instructor on the weekends. I will get to fun jump more, so screw it, and I don't really care if you have to switch from Dinty Moore stew to Alpo because you suck at math.

You must be one of those losers who have spent your life playing this game and now you think you are a "professional". I have news for you. Skydiving is not has never been a profession. Especially tandem skydiving which does not even require much skill. Get off your high horse.

I don’t take your comment the wrong way at all. I’m all about downsizing appropriately and safely. I am completely aware that I have no business jumping this rig any time soon. I’m really just trying to set myself up to have my own gear that I’m happy with once I get quite a few more jumps under my belt. I had planned on continuing to rent for a while and work on my canopy piloting skills as much as possible over the next couple seasons. To be completely honest I have no desire to fly this katana 107. I got ahead of myself buying gear a while back before I was more educated in the sport. Expensive mistake yes but now I know better. I have a second rig at my dz right now getting inspected by the rigger before I pull the trigger on it so I’ll hopefully be in the sky with my own (appropriately sized) gear soon. Don’t worry about sounding like a dick when you’re keeping people safe. I appreciate the feedback
