I also hate the mocking language and adding or changing letters in names to make a childish insult. But it is certainly not limited to right wingers.

That's arrogant and no surprise. You're a forceful dude, and smart, and I'm sure you have everyone in your circle enthralled. But not me. Listen to yourself: "Joe I have been to places and seen things that you can not even imagine". You have no idea where I've been or what I've seen or done.

Hi Joe, As one of those engineers, I studied Rankine, Kelvin, Celsius & Fahrenheit. All are OK; we just have to settle on one & have everybody use it. Personally, I prefer Celsius as I think it is simpler to understand for the non-technical types. Others may disagree, Jerry Baumchen

Floods- No change Droughts- No change Hurricanes- No change Tornados- Fewer not more Polar Bears- More not fewer Maldives and Caribbean- Populations growing not shrinking Food production- More not less Ice free arctic by 2013 (predicted by climate scientist and parroted by Gore)- Still here Desertification- Deserts shrinking not growing These predictions for not for some time hundreds of years in the future these were predictions of catastrophe that were going to effect us and certainly our children. (Just ask Greta)

You mean 16 years ago. The prediction was for record droughts, floods, hurricanes, tornados, desertification, mass migration out of the Caribbean and Maldives, diseases, crop failures, ice free arctic, dead polar bears on and on and on. None of it happened. In many cases just the opposite of what was predicted actually happened.

In politics it is always okay to use the press as a weapon. It is the essence of politics. How well you can do it is a huge part of success in politics. For example, Trump is a master at it.

And they lobby VERY HARD for gov't subsidies. They're the biggest crock of shit in the entire debate. There's nothing about a monoculture agricultural process that ends up emitting exactly as much greenhouse gases as gasoline that's helping the environment.

What you mentioned are two separate things. Regulations aren't inherently bad. It is bad if the boards are full of conflicts of interest. There's also a problem that antitrust laws haven't been really applied in good faith in a long time.
