It makes it very difficult to give you the benefit of the doubt when you deny the obvious.

    1. JoeWebs asked you if the highest earners should pay a higher percentage of their income than the kid with a lemonade stand? 2. The child within me only saw the words "lemonade stand," so I went on a tangent about how horny old assholes were trying to shut us down at garage sales way back in the 2015s. 3. Kallend said that horny old assholes aren't part of the government and that my comment was irrelevant to the question. 4. Gowlerk then said that my comment was a good way to avoid answering the question that Weber was asking you. 5. I told him that since you hadn't logged in yet to see the question, it was doubtful that you were avoiding it. 5. Then I told Webs about how they were talking about lemonade stands on Wheel of Fortune. 6. Damn you for making me repeat all that. 7. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. 8. I award myself no points, and my God have mercy on my soul.

High: Seeing this thread is still here after all these years. Low: Holly still gone. She was such a beautiful soul.

Show up, ask at the front desk if there's anyone looking to jump with other newbies. It might be a newbie, and it might be an old fart who likes jumping with newbies. Slow days increase your chance of jumping with the same person twice is more likely, and doing that will really make it easier for you to figure out what you're doing, so that you can either do more or less of it. But slow days decrease your chance of having someone at all -- ask at the front desk if there are people whom you normally should be looking for. Be honest that you can't afford to pay for coaching right now. And if you can afford to stay at the end of the day, do so, listen, and feel free to contribute beer if it's needed. There's no guarantees, but it beats nothing. Wendy P. (old fart who likes jumping with newbies)
