Asking a question doesn't require "discussion" to evolve. I don't believe Bruce wants to speak with Blevins. sounds like he was just curious. Bruce is busy in the real world and put Cooper on the back burner for now. so, it wasn't a "topic" of discussion, only a question. I replied to it as well as Parrot. nothing continued after the question was answered. I guess I can't answer questions there now without the gossip patrol. perhaps the same person could of contacted Bruce himself since he was so curious but then nothing could of been posted though...I guess we need to show the world Robert is the topic? again, a harmless questions grants rights to make a post about it on another forum, really. Is this the purpose of this forum. can we get any more silly than this?

I can recommend an excellent otolaryngologist. There's no need to live that way.

Your profile says you're an AFF-IE with 45 years in the sport. Where do levels 4 & 5 include docks? I've been an AFF-I since '90, and every school I've taught at 4's & 5's are about heading control and turns - docking comes later. Anyways, to my mind, having them use a point on the horizon for heading reference during turns makes them less dependent on us and establishes practices that they'll use on their solos. (Obviously on docking dives they would use us for that reference.) Indeed, on later levels I like to stay above and behind them. (Other than for docking), I don't want them to see me. I tell them that unless I'm giving them hand signals, just ignore me and do their thing. One, this gives them the idea that they don't need us, and two, it gives me an idea how they're gonna act when we're not there. On a side (but related) note, I always find this scenario funny: At the end of those dives I like to show up in front of them and give them a smile and a thumbs up, let them know they're doing a good job. Then I go to their side for the pull. Often they follow me. On the down side, I'm trying to get to their side so that I can watch the pull and assist if needed, and them following me makes that harder. On the UP side, that is usually their first intuitive turn. That is, they're not 'mechanically executing' a turn, they're just flying that way without thinking because that's where their attention is. It makes for a good teaching moment.

When you have a fundamental understanding of a subject you don't always need to see the numbers to know the general outcome. Anyway, found the reference to the standard from chuting star. "The XPS 72-600 is a Skydiving and Windtunnel Helmet standard used for the G4. The impact testing is the same as the EN966 standard for drop height and conditioning prior to impact (5.47 m/s at roughly 1.6 meters). The impact must be less that 250G. The XPS standard also requires a SNAG test, while the EN966 does not. The XPS requires the chinstrap to be on the exterior of the shell so that a line cannot pass up the inside of the helmet, while the EN966 does not. The EN966 is a Hanggliding helmet standard and also has a penetration test, while the XPS does not require a penetration test. However, Cookie has tested the G4 helmet for penetration according to EN966 and it passes with "great results," says Cookie."

That completely misses the fact that heating these substances changes them. It also ignores the fact that different people and companies add things to their juice. Asthma inhalers are prescription medications and are indeed known to have bad side effects in some people. They are only allowed because their therapeutic value for some people is greater than their potential harm. It only took a little quick research to find that propylene glycol is a potent contact allergen for some people. I am going to assume that you are a user and therefore feel a need to defend vaping. I'd advise you to give up both vaping and defending it. Especially defending it as it is not defensible. And exposing other people to it is completely indefensible. It is roughly the same as a smoker defending smoking. You are likely addicted and your addiction is clouding your judgement. I am coming at this from the point of view of a man who smoked for 25 years before quitting roughly 15 years ago. Two packs a day. In a closed car with both my wife and myself filling the cabin containing my two helpless children with smoke. One of my most shameful actions. Far worse than what you are doing.

Dumb, just dumb. Standards are a pain. To add some more info, XP S 72-600 is EN966 + some stuff relating to snag resistance. But as far as impact goes, it is the same. (I can't find my source on that, but I'll keep looking for it.)
