A vertical wind tunnel moves air upwards in a vertical column. It’s mostly for purposes of recreation, but also serves as a valuable training device for skydivers and the military. My only complaint was that the instructor made me spend my first 7.5 minutes on the bottom of the tunnel and wouldn't turn the wind speed up so I could actually fly and feel the feedback. If I wanted to dirt dive, I'd go outside and do that first. All that got me was some bruises, scrapes, and about 100 bucks wasted. Once I got into my second block with another instructor it was much better and the instruction was great. Zoltan really spent time to make sure I was learning and was happy with everything.

When you're ready to move onto the next level with your D4W, this is the place to do it. The instructors are incredibly good and also great people. The staff at the tunnel are fun and encouraging. It's like the mecca of tunnel in the US for team training whether that's FS or VFS, you can actually work yourselves without pointing at the walls. Great place, great peeps.
