Poland's first vertical wind-tunnel is located in Poznanska street, on the administrative border of Warsaw and Ozarow Mazowiecki, directly at the exit from the Warszawa-Zachod transport node - the S8 expressway, which is an extension of the newly built A2 motorway, which now links Frankfurt with Warsaw (A2) and Bialystok (S8). Both parachuting enthusiasts and those who would like to try bodyflight, are able to do it in FlySpot since june of 2014. A wind-tunnel is a closed-circuit channel, in which high-power fans generate uniform air flow, whose speed reaches up to 280 km/h. The construction, which is a novelty in Poland, involves the use of German technology (Flyspot is constructed on the basis of the technology used in the wind-tunnel in Bottrop), which is one of the most advanced technologies in the world.
