    This is the lie, solar panels are getting a LOT more reliable. Some of the newest ones are rated for 40 to 50 years: https://www.nrel.gov/news/program/2017/failures-pv-panels-degradation.html The battery lifespan is also a lie - the 10 years usually quoted is for the number of cycles for batteries to reach 80% of their rated capacity. You're talking as if they suddenly go to zero. The lithium in them is extremely valuable, this is another silly argument. If you replace your car's catalytic converter, do you dump it, platinum and all, in a landfill? Most batteries are easily recycled.

    You could also predict that the sun would rise tomorrow and nobody would give a shit. Those "'predictions" you made didn't have much uncertainty to begin with, which is why nobody gives a shit. It doesn't make you clever like you think it does. And I remember, I asked you to make an actual prediction (on an uncertain subject, predict a specific number) and you just ran away "to watch the game".

    Always enjoy Bruce, as well as these videos you are doing Ryan. I just find the narrative that the CIA/Deep State had to orchestrate this DB Copper Hijacking for the sole purpose to get more air port security a little silly, i.e. metal detectors in air ports or requiring more information from passengers to fly. Why on earth would they need to do this ? There were already so many hijackings, wouldn't those already be enough reason ? The government enacts laws and strong arms private industry all the time without the need for covert operations as trigger point.

    Nah, depending on geography the sun stops shining for around 12 hours of every day and that's assuming there's no inclement weather to reduce sunlight further. Here we see the repeated outright green lie. Most solar panels currently in use will last perhaps 20 years, the supporting batteries about half that, and then someone gets to decide which landfills to dump them in (any toxic materials in them notwithstanding), and that assumes they wont have a 'Fort Bend County' moment before then. Other than their much smaller site footprint; gas and nuclear plants will get 50 to 80 years of life and won't be dependent on wind or sunshine.

    But I also predicted there would be record coal production. I predicted CO2 emissions would continue to increase. (So much for “energy transition”) I predicted floods, droughts, hurricanes and wildfires would remain within historical range. I predicted Polar bears would continue to thrive. I predicted global food production would remain at or near record levels (thanks CO2). I predicted the Polar ice cap would remain year round. And I predicted ICE vehicles sales would continue to outpace EVs. (I know that one hurts Olof). All in all I think I did pretty well.

    That's called "Climate." They're talking about "Climate Change" which leads to "Global Warming." You do realize that a PERMANENT 1 degree change would have a significant impact on the world?     Are we REALLY going to engage in this game where deniers start comparing geological events that took place over 10s of thousands to millions of years to with the current events that have happened since the beginning of the industrial revolution? The speed of change is unprecedented to our knowledge. Only cataclysmic events like major volcanic events and large object collisions are comparable in speed.

    No injury but a young lady here did a nude two way late last summer and they miss-spotted. She landed in a field of nearly mature Canola (rapeseed) and had to walk about a 1/4 out through it. It was unpleasant for her.
