Zulu

Around 400 jumps, about 25 on my Zulu 152. I have jumped Pilots a few times (168, 188 and 210) and stared with a Sabre II 230 and now jump a Pulse 190 mostly for wingsuiting. Load my Zulu around 1.6 after gaining to much weight. Loaded it around 1.4 when first jumped. I like the openings, love the response and the short recovery arc. Nice flat glide and lots of landing power. Packs a bit bigger than the Pulse 190. I have a Vector 348 (a 150-ish rig) and the Pulse is easier to bag than the Zulu 152 although that might just be my packing. The Zulu is similar to the Pilot and although I have only jumped a larger Pilot, they are similar but the Zulu feels quicker.

I' made about 20 jumps with my brand new Zulu 152, and I love it.
On head opening, but faster than Pilot, very light pressure on toggle, make a big difference after a full jumping day on my arms, very reactive, especially when I' remove the slider ( I' suggest to spend that 250$ more for the removable slider ), the canopy becomes more reactive on harness input, and more fun to fly, is fast, but recover very well from long spot, and its also forgiving compared to Katana and Crossfire. My wingload is 1.3:1, which makes possible to use also with wingsuit. Going higher WL, the canopy becomes the best non cross-braced elliptical canopy, of course, this is not the best for wingsuiting.Is the best canopy I've flown, up to date, now, once I' deploy the fun continuos, flying this beautiful parachute.

Downsized from a Pilot 150 (1.23WL) to a Zulu 132 (1.4WL). It has some similar characteristics to the Pilot but still quite a different beast. Very snappy. I find the recovery arc is fairly quick. Responsive toggle inputs. I like how quick and on-heading the openings are. I have about 30 wingsuit jumps on it and have only had 2-3 off heading openings. I wouldn't load it much more than 1.4 in a Wingsuit. There are no surprises with this canopy, I feel as though it does exactly what I ask of it.

I own 2 Pilots and a Stilleto. After demoing a Zulu over the weekend. I compared same sizes. The Zulu just does everything a little better than the Pilot. Very pleased. Great canopy.

Aerodyne visited my drop zone, and I had a chance to demo the new Zulu all weekend! I have previously only jumped Pilots (124 and 132) loaded around 1.4... After jumping it all weekend (on both aff jumps and video jumps) I instantly put in my order, it's exactly what I was looking for. Great consistent openings (even when I packed it, and even when I pitched shortly after a track). The toggle pressure felt the same as the pilot to me, but where I really noticed the difference was harness input. Much more sensitive to harness input, and much more responsive to riser turns. (fyi: I don't swoop, nothing high performance). It got me back from looooong spots just as my pilot has and the flare felt much more powerful than the pilot. It has a new line type (ZLX) which I don't know much about but it was explained to me that they aren't supposed to stretch and should last longer. Just my 2 cents from your average canopy pilot and loves the new Zulu :)
