More rigid of a wing due to cross brace, very responsive and effeicient
could have better penetration into the wind, however rears are very responsive to a long spot.

Great Canopy, I love it! great openings, consistent, and on heading. great flare power. Great for all around skydiving or swooping.

Here is a video of openings and strait in landings.

Everything. Opens great. Swoops great. Easy to fly.
X-Large slider is hard to find a RDS slider for.

Can go fast or slow. Swoop or easy slow landing. Great Range. Small pack volume and sweet openings.

Soft openings, light front riser pressure, long recovery arc
None so far.

After researching the Crossfire2, Katana, and Mamba I took a gamble and bought a NEOS second hand. I wanted a canopy that had the openings of a Crossfire2 the dive of a Katana and the efficiency/distance of the Mamba, and I think the Neos is the canopy that has all of the positive traits of the above listed canopies and few negative traits.
The openings are very soft when packed appropriately, but you need to be on your best behavior body position-wise. The front riser pressure is very soft and the canopy dives a lot with the oversteer typical in elliptical canopies. The rear riser pressure is a bit firm, but not bad. The flare is better than any canopy I've flown, with toggle pressure firmer than that found in non-crossbraced canopies. The center 3-cells crossbracing does increase the pack volume a bit. My container is cut for a 107, and my NEOS 99 is probably the maximum amount of fabric that can fit in there and still fit well. I would say the Neos 99 packs up like a xfire2 109 probably. Overall its a very good high-performance canopy, and I look forward to learning a lot with it.

Soft onheading openings, very long recovery arc, soft front risers
high price :)

I have 100+ jumps on my Neos-89 (loaded 2.03), I like it!
It opens softly like Crossfire, first stage - it snivel about 3 sec, second - while inflating, it starts to fly forward, and You can effectively steer it by legs until it inflates.
It dives deeper than Xaos27 of same size!
Soft front risers, a bit hard rears, powerful flare and high oversteer - You may stop rotation by opposite front riser or leg.

openings, speed range
hard to tell after 1 jump... none so far!

I had the chance to test jump a friends Neos 109. Thanks Frank! Wingload was 1.9. The opening was very soft, softer than my Spectre that I used to jump a few years ago. Speed range is wide, the flare out of a 'straight in approach' was solid and ended with a few steps. The toggle pressure is very high compared to a non cross braced. I just made one jump under this canopy, but I am very impressed. Great canopy for the ambitious swooper who is looking for a cross braced with great openings...
