Good predictable glide, love the flare.
Hard front riser pressure, hard opening.

Only had 2 flights. Opening was fast and a little hard. The second jump was almost a knock out spanking. I was stable and flat both deployments. Other than the hard opening I was ready to buy it.

on heading openings, wingsuit openings, value for money
snatch force

After almost 500 jumps on my magellan i can say it is a great canopy to have. The vast majority of the openings are on heading soft and are not taking for ever. I have had the odd hard opening, but very rare and nothing too hard. What i have noticed is that the snatch force is greater relative to other canopies, like the crossfire, but again nothing too uncomfortable. Where this canopy is at its best is wingsuit openings:in around 100 jumps i ONLY experienced soft, on heading, no stress openings whatever the speed, whatever the position on opening. I have also jumped a storm 150 (about 40 jumps) with a wingsuit, it was great but the magellan was better. The canopy also flies back from long spots easy, and with my wing loading, i have managed to do some decent "swoops" from 90 degree turns only. The flare is great, similar to a sabre2. The material and the stitching is same quality with top manufacturers, but the price is better.
p.s. i can say that after all those jumps with this canopy, i NEVER had to kick it out of a line twist. sometimes (very rare) i had some line twists, but they always resolved themselves, before i had time to do anything.

This canopy flies very good
none

i have done on this canopy more than 350 jumps. During this time it showed itself from the best side. The openings were always fast but also soft, unpretentious in packing. Exit arc was not long, but if make a good 90, swooping will be very nice. In general it's a very very good canopy.

Openings, glide, landings, cost
Not that I can think of

I had one of these on demo from Aerosky in the UK managed by the very pleasant Maciej Rybitwa in mid 2014. The canopy came attached to lovely SWS risers with swoop loops that were a pleasure to use. It also made attaching the canopy an easy five minute job. I was impressed with the build quality and stitching, as were the many AP's and riggers that saw it.

I managed 12 jumps over 4 days in varied conditions. The openings were always on heading and soft, and consistent at 600ft on my protrack. The glide is good, as are the toggle and riser turns. Recovery from a dive seemed quite fast, much like a pilot. Landings were easy and predictable, again much like a pilot.

If the above sounds like your type of parachute then don't hesitate to contact a dealer for a demo. You will be impressed.

Price, glide and opening
None found

Used for almost 3years. Mostly for WS jumps and no cutaways so far. You can reach to DZ from far away opening spot. But if you have to land it offsite you can do this even on dug up field(tried myself :).
Regardless of you packing proficiency, if you keep slider in place, it will open well. Mine loaded at 1.55, so it fun enough to fly once WS part of jump is over :)

Smooth openings, responsive and predictable. Low price
none yet

Light front risers, 1/2 and 3/4 braked flight, stall recovery, smooth and radical toggle inputs... the canopy is responsive and predictable in all flight modes.

Magellan is docile enough even at 2:1, yet has plenty of swoop in it for experienced pilots. So I use my Mag-120 for wingsuit jumps and am very happy with its smooth openings and great glide.
