Crappy workmanship

The suit looked good and thats about it. The zipper split no longer works after less than 20 jumps. The wrist cuffs are different sizes as well as the leg cuffs. Very poor sewing quality. I wasted $180.00.

Unique designs for cheap, it does what you need in freefall
Took a little bit to get here and I didn't get the tracking number

I fell in love with the skeleton design and ordered it almost 2 years ago. The customer service chick was very helpful and responded quickly to emails. The suit was very inexpensive compared to others out there. I never did get that tracking number I was promised but whatever. When the time was about done with when I was supposed to get it I sent an email asking about the suit. She told me there were a few delays and customs but it'll be there soon. It was about a month late (but what skydiving gear have you EVER ordered that got to you on time?) When I got it everything seemed to fit great. The cuffs were comfortable and effective. I have some hard times getting the cuff on my right hand on because I'm not so good with my left hand (you'll have to see the cuff to know what I'm talking about). After freeflying with it for about a year I'd come to the conclusion that it should've been a little tighter around the torso and thighs but I'll just order a less baggy suit next time. I haven't had ANY of these problems other people seem to have with material quality. I got about 800 jumps and an hour of tunnel time out of the suit before it was time for a new one, this time a bit tighter. It came maybe 3 weeks late (not bad) and it was a little snug in the crotch (I did ask for it to be tighter though). So far it's holding up great.

Even with the holidays, I got it in 3 weeks. All extras free. Good e-mail support from eddie. Was very happy with my pur
Legs a little long

I got exactly what I ordered in the time specified (3 weeks, even though it was during christmas and new years.)
Fit is perfect but the legs are a little long. I will have them shortend 2 inches. (cost $18 from the local cleaners.Colors are great, but cordura knees and buttpad are a little off which I was warned of when ordering. Suggest double thick cotton if looks are important.
I haven't jumped the suit yet, so I'll see if it holds up.
Eddie Velocity was on the spot while I asked many questions before ordering.
Sounds like e-mailing questions and ansawers is the best, considering what othewr reviews say.
I have no gripes and am perfectly happy with my purchase. We'll just see how it goes.

Cheaper, Got it in 4 weeks, quality material
Looks like the the zipper is alittle week

I have hear bad things about Kurupee, but I tried it anyway. It was a good price, and it fits great. The only thing I am not sure about is the zipper, it is a little week. Only jumped it a few times, flys great. I would tell my buddies to get a Kurupee.

Recieved exactly what I ordered........color, size and options
Was suppose to have gotten a tracking number at the time of order. This number was to aide you in knowing the progress

I'm skeptical like most people, when buying a unfamiliar brand of products. I was currently in the market for buying a new freefly suit. Yes, I know the major brands like ( Tony suit, Body Sport, Flight suit, etc ) But I'm not one to always follow the herd. Before deciding on a suit, I had checked around the dropzone to see what everyone was jumping (Alaska Skydiving Center). Call me different.....But I like to read the ads in the back of "Parachutist" magazine. There I had read an ad for "KURUPEE" jumpsuits. I went to their website and found a really sharp looking jumpsuit for a reasonable price and the best part of all. The suit cad was one of the most easiest cads to build and color your suit. Some weeks later.....I recieved EXACTLY what I ordered. The sizing was perfect, the extra's were exactly where I wanted them and the craftmanship of the suit was excellent. When I'm in the market for another suit...... I wouldn't hesitate to buy another "KURUPEE" freefly suit.

Quick delivery and pretty helpful staff
Comes apart

I ordered the suit because of the turn around time and the cost. You get what you pay for. The first day on the first jump the suit already started coming apart. So I fixed it myself now just about everywhere they used the nylon stitching is now coming apart. I am tempted to send it back but will probably get a seamstress to sew it correctly. Aside from that nice suit

Skull looks pretty cool
Low quality and shipping

Well, it loos like I'm one more unhappy customer. I order a special suit from these people. The calavera design actually. they told me it would take 4-6 weeks to be delivered, wich i thought sounded rather proper. after 7 weeks I emailed my dealer and they said it was delayed to due damages caused by the Hurricane in the states, but, isn't their prodcution plant in Uruguay? Anyways they took another 4 weeks before my second email, then they promissed they'll send it by express courier. I kept buggin my dealer and at some point I even asked for my money back, which never happened. So, "6 months" later they email us asking for my measures again, after they ahd already told us that the suit was made and ready to be shipped.
Not to make this story really long, it took me 11 months before I got my jumpsuit. Although the design of the calavera suit is very unique and stands out on any dropzonem, the quality sucks; the right armpit got ripped after the second jump.I had to put a patch on it to hold it together before it rips to shreds.

Buttom line is:

Do not order from Kurupee suits
Do not become a dealer for them, they'll make you look bad and even your own suit will take for ever. Not to mention the times that you'll have to send them back due to problems with measures and colors.

Kurupee suits SUCKS THE BIG ONE!!!!

Fast Delivery and Price
I had to alter it a bit after delivery - too small.

I have had my suit for over a year, and the seat of the crotch has finally started to pull out. I also had to do some alterations since the suit was a bit small. Otherwise, I was satisfied. I got what I wanted for the price.

Bummer that they seem to have gone down in quality since then.

nice website...friendly sounding woman with interesting accent.
company is out of touch with reality...

suit arrived several inches too short in the torso...also very uncomfortable prickly nylon stitching inside suit...sent suit back for repairs at $25 shipping fee to Paraguay....got e-mail saying suit was stuck in customs....then another saying I still owed for the suit since their credit card service failed my card...I e-mailed to cancel order...they wanted to charge me $50 for cancellation...they later waived fee when I told them of my disatisfaction with their company. Many freeflyers I have spoken to have disliked these suits because they fall apart, wrong size, poor customer service etc. etc.

Low Cost
Where to Begin....

After sending one suit back for being improperly sized, I was sent a suit that has arms that are 3 inches too short. The zipper is almost broken after 40 jumps, and threads are loose allover the place. I would not recommend these suits to anyone that wants a suit to last. My suit is one step from being torn, zipper-less and useless.

Nice Looking Designes
Customer Suppport

I recently wrote an e-mail to Kurupee asking them if they had address some of the concernes that some past customers have reported. The rep responded to me very quickly and assured me that the problems with their materals had been corrected. She was very nice and very respectful except she couldn't get my name right. The major problem was the e-mail that was sent to her, she accidently forwarded to me. The person sending that e-mail indicated that any conplaints about their product was "Bull**it" and that I should not believe everything I read on the net."bla bla bla" He exclaimed. That person's attitude was such that anyone with less than a good experience was a wack job and he didn't care about them. I then sent a e-mail letting them know I would not be ordering a Kurupee suit, based on the fact that I didn't think they care about there customers. I was sent an apology, addressed to the wrong name again! It was obvious to me that they don't care about the people that have purchased or want to purchase a Kurupee suit.

nothing these suits suck
EVERYTHING

I bought a suit from these clowns and it took forever and a day to get.
I couldn't understand a word that my customer service person was saying (im not even sure if it was english), and trying to track my order was a joke.
The zipper blew out in 50 jumps and my cuffs are staring to fray every wear. I also ordered a gear bag with my suit which took even longer to get and now I'm scared that that thing is gonna crap out as well. It too has had some major fraying issues already and the zipper looks very poor quality. if you buy from these scam artists your gonna get ripped off.

The belief that you have a skydiving suit.
Everything

Kurupee is one of, if not the worst skydiving suits ever made production wise. I have no seamstress skills and I could make, and have made, a better suit. Construction was designed to be completed in a couple of hours. If you are only concerned about it being cheap and need a suit, go to your local parts store and buy a mechanics overalls. Take stickers and paste them on the coveralls. This will last you longer and make the best use of your money.

Ok, now for the substantiation. Stitching is weak. It needs triple and quadruple stitching in high stress areas. Does it have this...no. Cuffs are horrible. Dont bother measuring youself extremely accurately, as the suit will be SO much bigger than you ever want it to be when you recieve it in the mail. For pete's sake, I could HD with belly flyers with one of these. There is no liner, with no option of one. Zipper will fail, as it is cheap. There is no cross stitching at the bottom of the zipper to prevent it from going down past the start of the zipper. No neck flap.

I could go on and on....but I think you get the idea.

Good price and cool patterns.
No 3 week delivery as promised.

Kurupee suits are great for the money. I had my 1st suit delivered in about 5 weeks (remember it has to go through U.S. Customs) and I like it. The construction and the material are very good considering some of the landings and 200mph+ free flying I had, and so far the suit has not blown up. Kurupee needs to bring back their old logo, I think it is a lot cooler than the new one. The communication with Blasi was good, but as mpalmer78 wrote, do not expect to track your order at the website. I think the most important question is: will I buy another suit from Kurupee? and the answer is: Yes I will.

Everything!

Do not buy Kurupee suits, they are garbage. I have had 2 suits from them and both have had broken zippers and havnt made it past 10 jumps. I honestly thought it was a joke when I opened the box and saw my suit inside. They might as well have put the material and thread inside the box instead. Im now out over $300 and still no freefly suit. Thanks Krapee suits

Quality construction, good customer service. Best price available!
Delayed delivery from Paraguay South America.

My first impression with Kurupee was with their very nice website. I'm a web/Windows application developer and their site is very aesthetically appealing and professional. So, 5 stars for the website except their "Track Your Package" feature is useless...it doesn't work or they don't update order status, one of the two. I got the suit in yesterday (5 weeks later, instead of the stated 3 weeks) and it is NICE. It is VERY well made with nice additional features at no extra charge like double-knee material & inside pocket. The colors match what I expected. The neck band is some sort of padded material....VERY comfortable. I haven't jumped it yet, but I know it will be a good flyer the way it fits me. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting an inexpensive, but yet high quality, freefly suit. Just don't expect to track your order through their website!

great all around suit
none

I recently received my kurupee suit
and it is perfect.
This is suit # 2 for me.
I got a suit from them when they first came out almost 2 years ago,and it is in perfect condition.
The suits are well constructed and will NOT blow apart in freefall. (trust me!)
I have gone 210+ mph in both of the suits.
They where shipped fast, and the next day I got it i got a call from Blasi and Eddie from KURUPEE to make sure they where delivered.
They really care!
Thank you kurupee
for standing behind teamzero
