2X Helmet

My first helmet I bought second-hand, and although it fit it wasn't as snug as it could have been. I didn't realise how comfortable a helmet could actually be until I bought the Tonfly 2X.

It was a bit of a gamble as I was ordering from Australia without any real chance to test the helmet sizes, but the fit was fantastic from when I pulled it out of the box. After putting about 100 jumps on it, the fit is still fantastic and I'm very impressed with it.

The small profile means that I'm not smacking it on the door or anything else like my old one, and the audible port on the outside has been very handy.

Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone. A comfortable and high quality lid. Although it isn't cheap, you're getting what you pay for!

I am reviewing the 1X which is the exact same helmet as the 2x but without the camera mount. All I have to say is WOW, the quality of these helmets are untouched. By far the lightest, queitest, and best looking/fitting helmet I've worn. The audible pouch is comfortable and easy to access. You can have an external audible installed cheaply too. The helmet includes a chin cup. Also, Tonfly is smart in that they planned for future options. You can add LED's ect, without altering the lining. On the other hand, the main issue with these helmets are the price. My goodness they are expensive!!! But like anything else, you get what you pay for. Tonfly is like the Ferrari of skydiving equipment. It's not a gimmick like I previously thought. Their equipment really is top notch and worth the money if you can spare.

Of all the camera helmets I have ever flown this one takes the cake. The fit of this is simply amazing and that is usually my problem with helmets.From the first time I put this on it was a perfect fit like it was custom made for me. This helmet is so light and comfortable it's like a dream. Very easy to install/remove an audible, the liners feel great and are easily replacable. The chincup is very comfortable as well.
I am surprised to say I have not one bad thing to say about these helmets.
