Solid build, great price, freefly friendly
Nada

What a great first container! Just got mine a few weeks ago, and it's been exactly what I was looking for. Easy to pack, comfortable to wear, safe for freeflying, and killer looks on the ground and in the sky. Great rig at a reasonable price. Haven't had my riser covers come undone once, they're solid and stay where I put em. The backpad and laterals kick butt, and the articulated harness gives you maximum mobility. I could easily sleep in mine. SOOO much better than rental gear!!! It even came with extra stowbands and a closing loop, a pullup cord, some stickers, and a bottle coozie. Go Wings...you won't regret it! Undoubtably the best skydiving-related purchase I've made, besides AFF). Next rig? Wings baby!

Looks great, they ajusted it to fit me.
The stitching is breaking all over the rig.

I bought my rig new at the in of April,2005. I have had to have a rigger work on it 5 times to replace stitching that is breaking. At the WFFC in Rantoul I had to have a rigger work on it twice just so I could keep jumping. The D bag has been a big problem, the pilot chute, and the flaps on the main container have all had to be resewn in the last 4 weeks. The rig is only 3 months and 2 weeks old. I really like the it fits me and I'm contacting the company to see if I can send it back for them to look at to see what they can figure outwhat's going on. I know that they will take care of it. I can furnish my riggers name if needed.

good value, very comfortable and looks great!
none as yet...

I've done about 30 jumps on my new Wings and I couldnt be happier with it!

I'm very happy with the appearance of my rig, it looks quite small and compact for it's size (a 190- although packing is a bit of a nightmare at the moment as the tray's a bit tight, but I'm a newbie with a new ZP canopy so it's not really a surprise!)... the workmanship on it is clearly very good and the tie dye (which i was very paranoid about) looks great... i have had nothing but good comments about it...

It's by far the most comfortable rig i've jumped,it fits perfectly and allows a lot of movement in freefall... it's well padded especially on the leg straps and on the back...

I looked into getting a lot of different rigs and I eventually choose Wings as it offered all the options I wanted at a much lower price... I'm very very happy with my Wings and would recommend it to anyone...

price
none

This is my first rig ever, and I think that I did a great job on choosing a Wings Container.
I ordered it for a 150 main, but since I am kind of new in the sport I put a Hornet 170 on it and it fits beautifully. It is the most comfortable rig I have ever tried, and believe me when I say that when you are in student status you do try a lot of different rigs. I truly recommend this rig to any newbie on the sport because of its accessibility on price, and its easiness to fit canopies of bigger or smaller size. Wings containers are as good and probably better then any Javelin or Mirage container out there, but with a more reasonable price to its customers.

Great customer sevice, good workmanship, great oprions wit ha reasonable price.
None as of yet.

I run a small Demonstration Team that uses "Wings" rigs for its Student Training, Relative Work, Demonstration Jumps with smoke and for its camera jumpers. We have Large 7 cell demonstration canopies in most of our rigs, but we do have several smaller ones holding zero-p canopies for the camera jumpers.

The system is tough, they take some serious abuse from our students and the smoke, but still look good after the 3 years we have had them.

I have been offered a free rig for my personnal use by a competeing maker but chose to buy one from Sunrise instead.

Great all round value for $
None listed

We run a small DZ in OZ,after visiting the crew at Sunrise I was conviced that these Guys know how to build a rig. Two years later i have 4 student containers and we have at least 10 wings sport rigs on the DZ. We operate in a dusty hard ground enviroment and those student rigs get a hammering, but they are holding up just fine.
My next rig will be a wings.Value for money, fastidious workmanship and ledgendery customer service.
Get a wings you wont be disappointed

Incredibly comfortable
none just yet

Got my new EXT a month ago and love it. Incredibly comfortable. I have a Katana 107 and a PD113 reserve. I did a Mirage G4 demo and a Wings. On the 4 Mirage jumps every flap was open in freefall which was shocking because of the price of the container. The Mirage was decently comfortable. After seeing the video on all those jumps there was no way in hell I was going to pay what a fully loaded G4 goes for. Needless to say after the demo of the Wings I was extremely excited. Hanging in the harness is so comfortable and makes for a really nice canopy ride. The rig is super comfortable on my back and stays nice and tight in freefall. And hell it looks good too! Packing is a bit different from my old Javelin but once I got the hang of it was just as easy. The customer support I got from Ankie Berry was great. Everything I wanted was taken care of and actually got my rig ahead of schedule. I highly suggest anyone looking for a new rig Wings is the way to go and tuff to beat on price, quality and service!

Great quality/price/looks
a bit tight tray wise, FF handle still not convinced

I've now put enough jumps to write a decent review. I custom-ordered my EXT to fit my Tempo 150 and Viper 105.

The quality and attention to details is outstanding. Nicely sewn and put together.

Packing the Tempo for the first time was a pain. We then repacked it once after four months and it went in no-problem. We also had to shorten the loop by 1". Same deal for the main. It got better after about 50 jumps. Now it packs a bit tight but sweat-less nonetheless.

I got the cut-in laterals and the harness fits just perfectly. It's tight, comfortable, allows to move around, and the container does not lift at all. I got full SS with the newer PDF leg-strap buckles that do stay in place. Also they way the articulated ring is designed assures proper flexibility without the need of chest rings. Nicely done indeed.

Mine has the FF handle and the cordura pouch. The latter is highly recommended. My FF handle got replaced with one of the newer ones for free but I am not still fully convinced. I like the feel, security, and looks but it is still a bit hard to tuck it in. I’ll wait until the container fully softens up and then I’ll see to replace it with a hackey.

I think this is a superior and also cheaper alternative to the Javelin. It also makes a good companion to my S3 :)

In the future if I will need another container it is going to be a Wings, no question about it.

By the way Sunrise customer service is top notch and the wait time minimal.

extremely confortable
i don't like the short toggles

what's up. i just got my new wings w-8-2 ext in. i love it. this is my 3rd wings, and by far the best of the 3. they had some problems with the main flap being too soft and coming open, they have totally fixed this problem. i used to have a w-4 and it was just too short for my confort, i felt like i had to strain to get to the pud, my new ext is great, no strain at all. the leg strap design is the most conforable i've ever jumped. i've jumped about everything out there, infinity, mirage, vector 3, javelins, recalls i mean reflexs. pretty much all the popular containers, and the wings is the most conforable out of all of them. the only complaint i have about the wings is the main riser toggles, they are really short and built funky, they have a option of getting longer ones you just have to ask, and i forgot to. other than that this is the best rig i've ever owned (2 other wings, a couple reflexs, a jav. and a naro, i started jumping young i've grown out of a few ;-).

Price and Options available
Tray sizing a little tight

I got my custom Wings last fall and could not be happier with the product.

One of my favorite features is the cut in laterals. It feels like the container just 'hugs' my body. The cut ins are great for us smaller flyers. I mostly freefly and my rig stays put throughout my jumps (a luxury I didn't have with my last rig).

I considered two other fantastic containers, but Wings had all the options I wanted and the price was hundreds less.

The only thing that was a bit hard to deal with was packing it at first. Sunrise Rigging tends to size the trays a little tight. After the first dozen pack jobs, it got easier.

I am one of 6 jumpers at my home DZ that has a Wings container. All of us are very pleased with our purchases.

Comfortable fix, great riser, pin and bridal protection.
Looks and only the looks of the reserve coverings.

My name is Dan-o, I have many jumps and own 4 containers. I have jumps all the makes.
I was sold on Mirage and owned 2. When I bought a Wings and jumped it for the first time, WOW!

I will never buy another container. The fit, back pack, riser, pin and bridal protection was great. Better then all on the market. Then came the looks.. It was a very sharp looking container. Crisp lines, shape and design. The team at Wings were GREAT to work with and made my container just as requested.

Good price, options, customer service, design, lead time
If I find one I'll let you know

It has simply the best pud design on the market - get it instead of a hacky.

Its an excellent rig, easily the equal of any other on the market. This is not an in-depth review - there are plenty here. Their customer service is seccond to none. Go buy one and see for yourself.

Without doubt the best value for your money at the moment
Some rigs are more perfect than Wings. Not by much, but they are

First off, I don't own a Wings. But I've put some 100-odd jumps on one and felt I could share my impressions.

Comfort-wise, I can't say much because the harness was fitted for a much smaller person. This meant it was tight, but it never really obstructed my movement in freefall. I also put three jumps on another system made for a jumper who's about my size, and that one felt quite comfortable. (Not as much as a Javelin or a Voodoo, but it was close)
The thing that bothered me the most on the rig I jumped (the smaller one) was the reserve handle which was coming unlodged all the time (always during packing and often when getting up from the seat). I'm guessing the really short MLW played a part in this, but it was still something that simply shouldn't be happening.

Less bothersome was the downward-tucking tab of the reserve pin cover which would untuck on most every jump. It was obviously too short, although the side tabs held the reserve cover closed without a problem. A few uneven stitches and slightly bunched-up fabric at the bottom of the reserve tray prove that while this rig might get you the best value/price ratio, in the end, you still get what you pay for.

Based on my experience, I would have given Wings three and a half stars, but since this option is not available I gave it four (well, it would have been 3.75, really;) The rig that I jumped was manufactured sometime in 2002, and if I understand correctly, they keep improving the design. Unless you think the look of the rig is average or dislike pop-tops, even partially covered, I'd say you can't go wrong with a Wings.

Comfortable, affordable, and flawless.
Hard to clean and not fully articulating.

My wife and I got our new Wings several months ago and cannot say enough good things about them. They are extremely comfortable, easy to pack, and are very well priced. If you are in the market for a new container, be SURE to check out the Wings and order one. You will NOT be sorry.

I just received my second Wings container. My first was bought second hand but this one was all custom. Its a W8-3 EXT with all the options. Loving the new cut in laterals. Couldn't believe that the pin protection and comfort could get any better but it has. SWEET...

Great and the safe container
none

After making my way down to Florida, I visited the Sunrise Rigging factory, home of the Wings skydiving container. I was immediately and permanently won over by their customer service skills and attitude with regard to me and my concerns about my new Wings container. If for no other reason than their courtesy to me during my visit, I would rate this company as the best in the business. I was impressed by everyone at Sunrise Rigging, but I was especially impressed with the personality and demeanor of Henry, the owner. He helped take care of my problems quickly, efficiently and always in a friendly manner. I was more than pleased to be working with this fine organization, and I would recommend them to everyone I meet in the skydiving community and beyond.I honestly believe that the Wings container is one of the most, if not the absolute more, reliable container in the market today.

Incredibly tidy, great BirdMan mods for free
none

I just recieved the first of my two new Wings EXT containers and I am completely stoked at how it looks and works for me! I jump one of the very-smallest sizes, the W1-2 EXT. The construction of this rig is first rate. The pin protection is fantastic. The fact that all the wingsuit-specific mods are free really makes it a great bargain at any price. The rig fits at least as good as my old Odyssey, looks fantastic, and provides me with very-clean wingsuit deployments. I have the highest praise for this rig.

I had been a fan of the system for a number of years, having used them as student rigs at the last skydiving school I worked at. I had also seen some incredibly good looking tiny ones on the backs of some of my friends. Ultimately, when it came time to look for a new ride, I naturally chose the one that I had been so impressed with lately.

Super comfortable, improved flap design, very good customer service
None so far

I was looking for a manufacturer who could get me a Container within 5/6 weeks in continental north america, beeing in Canada myself. Wanted to stick with a major brand (i'm from Germany and might return within a year) to have replacement parts available whereever i am. I had to drop my original choice due to long deliveries, so i asked around and got quite some advice to go for Wings.

A good friend of mine told me that opening (mainly main-)flaps used to be an issue, but that has been resolved if it existed.
I know because i own one now, and i know they are safe.

Having my first deployment in that harness, i immediately thought that something was wrong. I looked up at my canopy - all there, lines in order, no spin, risers ok, toggles in place, so what's wrong?
NOTHING!

I was just so used to feeling my former harness by it squeezing here and there that it just felt like there was something missing. Yet the only thing missing was the squeeze, and when i re-evaluated my situation it turned from Wrong? to GREAT!

I went into some nice dive turns to see what it feels like when under pressure.
Didn't change that much, was still "not really there". I LOVE it!!

When having it recommended to me, i didn't really know what to expect and didn't know what to think of all these reviews at DZ.com...

Everyone was soooo right about the comfort and service, except that dude who was pissed by their service; i think they have among the best service out there, they even mailed me the embroidery data files so i wouldn't have to pay the digitization of my custom logo again if i should need it anywhere.

I received my rig (rush service, w/ tie-dye) exactly five weeks after my order, everything fits as grown-on and it looks kick-*ss!

Best bang for the bucks!
None that I can think of.

I recently received my new Wings container straight from Sunrise Rigging and I couldn't be more happy with it. Overall, I believe this is the best container around for the money!
I seriously researched all the containers out there before deciding on the Wings system. I found that eventhough some other container might equal the Wings system in comfort, quality of worksmanship and functionality, none are as cheap as the wings system. Score a 50% off coupon from someone for cheap and then you will really understand the meaning of best bang for the buck in any container systems. Eventhough I got my container straight from Sunrise Rigging at a discounted price, the customer support, and the product I received was far from being discounted.
All in all, this a great product from a great company! You can't go wrong with Wings system!

Everything!
Hmmm nadda

Start to finish no problems at all. Customer service from the dealer (Square 2) and Paige at Wings was awesome. I couldn't be more satisfied. Completely F/F friendly. Stiff tuck tabs that stay closed until deployment no matter what position you fly in, awesome dive loop design, articulated harness/ring intersection is amazing and very comfortable. Only velcro on the entire rig is on the d-bag. Quality of work, material and design is everything I could ask for and more. Not to mention all at a very competitive price. Thank you Sunrise Rigging, I will be buying my next rig from you guaranteed!

Even Better
None

I'm just bought my third Wings container. This one has the latest design changes. Wider Riser Covers, better tuck tabs, longer #2 closing flap. I can't say enough good things about this system, nor about the customer service at Sunrise. Do your homework, then buy a Wings.

My first container and it is GREAT. Comfort than the infinities, and javelins i've jumped. flaps never come undone, even in free fly. Equal to all the higher ends containers, that you pay for the name and same quality.

Comfortable Fit, Maximum Movement allowed
The reserve can be a pain to pack.

I have just purchased a Wings container and I adore it. I only have approximately 14 jumps, but have been a packer in the sport for 7 years. As a rigger candidate I packed my reserve and the only complaint that I have is that the pilot chute is a bit of a bear. The pilot chute is not only EXTREMELY strong, it wants to slide out from under you at every opportunity due to the way that it increases in size as it goes up. Other than that, I adore my Wings and would never buy anything else!

I had to wait about nine weeks for it but it was well worth it. I have only put a couple of jumps on it so far but it is the most comfortable rig I have ever worn. In the plane, in freefall and under canopy it felt amazing. It looks beautiful and packs like a dream. The workmanship is top of the line. I could not be more happy with it, I would recomend it to everyone. And after puting it together my rigger would recomend it himself for its simplicity and ease of packing. I congratulate all at Sunrise for an outstanding product. I look forward to many jumps on my new Wings!!
