Pocketed corners, Internal main riser covers,
Hard to find old ones in great shape

Albeit a lucky break to find a 1995 rig with around 25 jumps on it ( yes I'm stoked) I'm still for one, impressed by the little details in the rig.

The riser flaps on mine are tuck tabs and still stiff as all hell but it's the way the risers have an inner envelope that closes on them before the tuck tabs are inserted. A little tug from the bottom of the rig and your risers are snug and don't come open, not even while attempting sit, holding stand or bouncing around the air with some buddies!

The Pocketed corners are great and UPT incorporated them everywhere it counts. It's like every different flap is overlapped by another so it really appears seamless, which is just sweet!

Mine was altered from Leg throw out to B.O.C. but the other features are original.

From what I understand they had a couple of different platforms for the vector 2 (some had velcro riser covers)
but the point is , that if you are fortunate enough to find one in great condition check it out! its great affordable and still free fly capable ( in my case) I most definitely am stoked on my Vector 2!

Reliable, Solid Rig
Not Freefly Friendly

I jumped a Vector II for two years and had nothing but good things to say about the rig. They are solid in construction and have a very basic design(good for first-time rig owners). Their only flaw is that they are not freefly friendly. They are outstanding for video flyers, pond-hungry people, or RW/belly flyers who want a good, tough rig. Just keep an eye on the velcro and keep on jumping this rig.

Reliable, quality rig
Uses a lot of velcro

Jumped a second hand Vector II for a year now, very good rig. Have never had a pin flap come open in freefall, never any problems. My only issue with this harness, and its not a major issue, is that the riser covers are closed with velcro and have a tendency to come open once the rig is put on.
