It is lightweight, sturdy, accurate, reliability and accuracy in a small unit.

The NeoXs is the latest in the family of audible instruments designed and built by Parasport. It is directly born from the experience of the Skytronic GFX, completing it when the GFX is used as visual altimeter installed on the wrist mount.
Main features of the NeoXs include freefall signals, canopy warnings, countdown timer, real time altitude display while climbing to altitude, and the simplified programming of warning altitudes, using 4 user programmable profiles.

The NeoXs has also been designed to be easy to inexperienced users too. The ergonomic Navigation Switch allows an intuitive use and an easy programming of the different altitude warnings on the ground as well as climbing to altitude. The unit has aluminium case and has a wide LCD display protected by a polycarbonate shield, being therefore highly shock resistant.

It has been designed to be inserted into the inner pocket of a helmet without using any specific adapter. It's compatible with any helmet, full face or open face. Because of the small size and the 12 mm of thickness of the lightweight aluminium case, the NeoXs doesn’t affect helmet fit and comfort once inserted into the inner pocket.

The NeoXs is available in 3 colors: Lava Red, Aluminium Grey, and Night Black.

It offers 3 alarms in free-fall + a timed one and 3 more alarms under canopy.

Unfortunately it's a pretty useless tool as it's not loud enough to be heard in free-fall, even if setting the volume to the max.

Inexpensive
Instructions are only useful to raise your blood pressure

The instructions were very difficult to follow and when I did get it setup I was not sure how I did it so I don't dare change anything. I have the feeling that this could be a very good unit if it had the supporting documentation.

light weight
programming

With the instructions that came with it was useless got better ones from Parasport and that helped, but al in all I will find out sat if that's even set correctly took over an hour to set up at first the ones I set in did not take, and profile is free fall and swoop is canopy, then kept switching back to mt and ft pay attention to that setting, should include the better instructions. recommend: unsure at this time

Simple, cheap, does the job
Different alarms have some tone (different beep pattern)

I like this little guy. Cheaper than L&B Optima II, strong metal case, and just enough functionality (always on, 3 FF alarms, 3 canopy alarms, plus a few other things I don't use). I have two NeoXs's in my helmet so I don't have to worry about one failing. After a year I haven't had to change the battery on either.
