When I was about 8 years old I remember telling my family I would love to skydive. This great idea was smashed with the usual too dangerous and way too expensive prejudice. Being the good boy I was at that time i buried that idea, much to the liking of my family, I even forgot about this strong inner wish for a long time.

During Design School, around 2002 I got introduced to photography, and was instantly hooked. And when it was time to find a job I was facing the decision if I would go and look for a job, or go self employed and try my luck as a photographer. Turned out I didn’t really feel like finding a job. Ever since I made my living from taking photos for my clients. From shooting concerts for the local venue to shooting campaigns for a big beverage company I was able to gain quite some experience over the past 12 years.

So, in 2010 is got introduced into skydiving, and the feeling was familiar with the one I had with photography, just naturally a lot more intense. As you probably already guessed, the thought about doing photography in a totally new way got me hooked even more. Being able to put those years of photography experience into the sky was and continues to be an amazing experience. I’m honestly looking forward to the time ahead, there’s still so much to learn.
