medusa 0 #1 June 8, 2011 I'm trying to make a list of all the wing suits models that have been invented and all the different manufacturers. This should be the legacy we leave behind, lets start making this list before is to late. I will like some help, just copy the list and ad the ones you know and re- post it. freeflysoul 0 #3 June 8, 2011 Crossbow was made by Parasport italia... 3,2,1,C-YA!!! V. BASE #1075 / BMI #I-002 / PFI #042 / EGI #
LukeH 0 #4 June 8, 2011 Birdman - Impact (yes they really called their BASE suit that!) I think there was an MTR 3 (maybe it never got released) Pressurised had a wingsuit, I think it was called Trigger. Don't forget the attack of the clones with Tracking suit, Pirana, Manta & Shark. mccordia 73 #5 June 8, 2011 Ive also seen Apache X mentioned by some. And there also used to be some Russian copies of classics/GTi's, but no clue who made em. Also a lot of single prototype suits by people who never went the way of actually selling. We have a bit of wingsuit history on flylikebrick.com as well at http://flylikebrick.com/wingsuit-history.php If anyone has any additions there, let us know..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? aarthus 0 #6 June 8, 2011 Crossbow was the very first suit produce by parasport Italia for Flyyourbody ( Loic jean Albert & Stephane Zunino) so The crossbow model should be below S-FLY Patrick de Guillebon
mccordia 73 #7 June 8, 2011 I also think the Trackingsuit 'special' is not really anything needing seperate listing. Its just an option on the standard trackingsuit, that's already standard on most suits produced these days. And though hard to keep track with the 'buy this week, outdated the next one' approach of constantly changing models....Xbird/Xwing seem to be the same suit if Im not mistaken?JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? piisfish 136 #8 June 8, 2011 I could be wrong but it seems to me that : -wasn't the Crossbow a Parasport Italia suit ? -Birdman Tengu (not Tangu) -the S-Fly Expert was just the S-fly at the beginning (before being expert) -Giboline 1, 2 & 3 (never commercialized)scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
LukeH 0 #9 June 8, 2011 you can see what suits people have logged on PPC here: http://www.paralog.net/ppc/showequipments.php Sugar Glider came before the GS1. If you want to start listing one-off suits we'll be here quite a while. Yves Rosy made at least one suit I think. Julian Boole has lots of suits, all different/unique. VKB Grusomme Gratis Gunda (G3) and others. S-Fly "integrated" suit. Lurch has made a few suits. A few other people have made their own clones of existing suits. medusa 0 #10 June 8, 2011 Ok I updated the list. Everything good? Lete me know if we need to add anything else. Question, there wasn't a bird man suit before the in between Blade and tengu? i believe they called cross wing or something?Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! mccordia 73 #12 June 8, 2011 - S3S and S6 are both the same suit. Just different name. - There was an X-Wing in between the Blade en Tengu...a suit only flown by a few of the TopGun team guys. not worth mentioning, as it wasnt a commercially available suit..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? mccordia 73 #16 June 8, 2011 I do see several suits in the list that never made it to 'for sale/production models'. Unless you want to add about 50 more suits where no more than 1 was made, a bit of weeding through the list and sticking to 'production/for sale' models only would be good...JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? medusa 0 #17 June 8, 2011 jarno, I understand what your saying but if we edit out the non commercial ones we will have to edit out something like the Daking Soaring suit. I do agree that we have to be carefull not to add just any variant of a suit, because Tony will fill out all the page. Wish ones you think they should be out? Im merging the S3S and S6 to S6 Im also adding the tony suit nebulaMedusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Patent pending ATFK15456

LukeH 0 #19 June 8, 2011 Maybe the list can be organised into a few sections? -Currently commercially available -Previously commercially available -Non-commercial / Protoype It would also be nice to have the year first and last commercial available for the commercial models, and year made for the others.
