improving a ws

Recommended Posts

Hello, I know a guy who modded his blade 2 by sewing a pouch inside each sleeve in which he inserted a pool noodle cut in half along it's lenght. It creates a semi-rigid leading edge and apparently, it did improve the winsguit performance. Has anyone ever tried this ? I'm gonna try it on my GTI but without sewing a pouch first to see it it's worth the trouble. So far, it looks promising in front of the mirror B|

I'd be wary of adding a bit of foam noodle to your arm sleeve without securing it in some manner. Come unzip time, that could get 'fun'.

I'd be real careful that it doesn't effect your arm movement in any way, to include pulling, cutting away, pulling the reserve, unzipping or un hooking anything. If it's not secured in there, where can it go, and what harm can it do there?

Overall it seems like a bad idea. Unless you need the performance to over fly a ledge on a BASE jump, how about just work on your performance, and not the suit.
