irrlicht 0 #1 November 3, 2009 hello flying people :-) do you think a suit which has white as maincolours, will sty white for long? and if you make team jumps will grips be visible to the camera? in other words ;-) is it possible to keep the white white and do you have good brightness on videos? mccordia 73 #4 November 3, 2009 Ive flown a white suit for a long time, and up close it will look like a rag. The white will turn yellow-ish. Every stain shows. But on video/photos, it always looks purdy....so...yes...JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
kallend 1,822 #5 November 3, 2009 I have a white RW suit with well over 1000 jumps on it, and it still looks white despite the best efforts of Perris dirt and Spaceland mud. I wash it frequently - that helps.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
moonglo 0 #6 November 3, 2009 in freefall the pics do look pretty white, but see attached picture of me under canopy... this V-1 only has about 200 jumps on it. I'd recommend adding a darker color to the high wear spots - the butt (sitting on the plane), the chest/shoulders (under your rig) and the collar (neck sweat). For worries about seeing grips, try black gloves! (edited to upload pic )
Titanium_Gecko 0 #7 November 3, 2009 Back of my S-Fly Expert is white and is still looking good after 95 jumps though odd marks are starting to appear. First ones were from in aircraft, so watch out, then a couple of tiny grass staines. I'm more of a face planting type of person or knees these days, if ever, but have just downsized canopies so feeling a bit more worried....lol. mccordia 73 #8 November 3, 2009 this suit had about 800+ jumps by the time this picture was taken. It looks slightly grey/yellow-ish up close due to the sunlight. But in general, white as can be for pix and video.JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
