GPS logging with Nokia S60 phone?

Recommended Posts

I know that having some form of audible software for windows-mobile, combined with a bluetooth GPS unit, would be something quite a few people would be happy with.

Even if its just a voice thingy calling out speeds (forward of downward) in your ear..would be an awesome toy/tool for the performance flyers...

I also could not find any suitable software, and started developing my own. I am running it on S40, but I think it would run on S60 as well.

Using headset for audible feedback sounds like a good idea, this could also replace (or back up) the audible altimeter.

Klaus(Paralog) tried this awhile back while he was here in Az using a Blue tooth GPS receiver and a phone (model unknown). Perhaps he can comment in more depth but the bottom line was it didn't work reliably and it had issues with the data.
