phoenixlpr 0 #1 September 24, 2009 Hi, Is anyone else using that? I could not find suitable sw, so I have started to develop my own. My setup is phone + bluetooth GPS receiver. I'm going to use bluetooth head-set for audible feedback from GPS data. Ideas?
mccordia 73 #2 September 24, 2009 I know that having some form of audible software for windows-mobile, combined with a bluetooth GPS unit, would be something quite a few people would be happy with. Even if its just a voice thingy calling out speeds (forward of downward) in your ear..would be an awesome toy/tool for the performance flyers...JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? lego 0 #3 September 24, 2009 I also could not find any suitable software, and started developing my own. I am running it on S40, but I think it would run on S60 as well. Using headset for audible feedback sounds like a good idea, this could also replace (or back up) the audible altimeter.lego
LouDiamond 1 #4 September 24, 2009 Klaus(Paralog) tried this awhile back while he was here in Az using a Blue tooth GPS receiver and a phone (model unknown). Perhaps he can comment in more depth but the bottom line was it didn't work reliably and it had issues with the data."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
