Hi Ed,
The monkeys and I are just done with our BASE escapades here in Europe, sitting here together
now and the general consensus is that you can
count us all in for Ecuador.
Peace

Any idea how long the 'first few days' last :)

Flights from Atlanta only fly late on a Satuday so i'd be arriving early Sunday and having to leave the next Saturday evening.

Organizers needed to get confirmation/commitment of support from the government. It wasn't provided by the date that they needed for planning, so rather cancel it early then leave everyone hanging or cancel it last minute. I was really looking forward to going, but was able to rearrange and go to Belize instead. The early notice was much appreciated.
50 donations so far. Give it a try.

Tom Noonan, who was instrumental in organizing it, wrote me as follows:
Quote

I just received word from the coordinator of the Ecuadorian boogie that the boogie has been cancelled. The Ecuadorian Air Force has the planes available and would like to see the event happen, but permission was denied higher up the chain of command for civilian skydiving at the moment in the country.
