V3 - anyone have one (production) yet?

Recommended Posts

An outstanding suit... I'm sooo excited to go 'legs on ass flying'/backflying/freeflying with this suit :S;)

Many thanks to the PF team and Morpheus for their continued support of my flying.

Well the shutter timer didn't allow enough time to set the camera down in the just right spot, run back, zip up, strike the typical pose, and throw a cheesy smile all while having perfect hair. So I gave up on the perfect hair and cheesy smile.. oh well, we all gotta make compromises. ;)

I made nine jumps on my V3 this weekend at Skydive Houston (The Wingsuit Capital of Texas)! I had an amazing flight around a nice white puffy cloud! The V3 kicks ass for carving around puffies :)
In comparison with the V1, the V3 has a greater amount of pop for flocking. Since I flew base in the flocks this weekend, I will have to wait until Puerto Rico to comment on its performance in a flock with a slow forward / slow vertical fall rate. I felt just as rock solid flying base in the V3 as I do in the V1. Finally, the arm pressure in the V3 is a lot less than that of the V1.

I think I heard that all of the pics Matt took of you were out of focus, really strange:S

Hey Mike! Here are a couple of shots I took of you leading the flock in your new V3 over the Wingsuit capital of Texas (SDH)

Now come on! I dusted off my wing suit for some jumps, let's get you out of yours for a jump ;)

I cant tell for sure but does Mike have a BASE Pouch that he is using on that suit. It looks like it on the close top pic?? If so Mike, did you try it using your BOC and then go to the BASE Pouch or am I just seeing things...

Lots of bent knees there what fall rate were you getting in the flock and then when you kicked it at Break??

While it does look like there is a BASE pouch on his WS, it doesn't appear that he used it on the jumps I photographed.

If I remember correctly, these flocks were in the low 70s for fall rate.
