Butters 0 #51 December 26, 2008 QuoteI have been as low as 80mph fall rate tracking in a tight nylon RW suit. That's what I'm talking about ... One of my favorite jumps was a tracking jump swooping some clouds (I felt like I was in a wingsuit)."That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
fasted3 0 #52 December 26, 2008 Quotewhen I even exited with this thing the first few times out of the otter I was taken back by the quick inflation and even that was enough to make me very wobbly and spend some time getting in control. Good post. I describe my PF Tracking suit as a wingsuit without any wings. Properly flown, it performs like a beginner wingsuit, and offers a lot of things to learn, besides being a lot of fun. They only require 50 jumps so are perfect for an aspiring bird without enough jumps. Great preparation for anybody, for that matter. Getting good in a tracking suit is the best way to be ready for wings, I think. But what do I know?
Zydrius 0 #53 January 11, 2009 >>>f say a person with 100 skydives has a good tracking skills, would trying about an intermediate wingsuit (like Ghost or Phantom) be dangerous? you don't have good tracking skills, not yet.
