hhiiiehyyieiiihh Uh nothing compares 2400 kph my fucking body faster than a bullet out of my Desert Eagle .5

Blue skies allways at 60.000 ft :)

So... tell us the whole story then? Sounds awesome at any rate.

http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/lightning/history.html#TOP

most of my friends from Skydive Cape Town joined me at my birthday, when I get my instructions . . .

This plane got a ramjet engine (no moving parts).

So we started at Cape Town International and just a couple of hunderds feet alti, the pilot moved the shiny monster vertical. It feels for a moment like we falling backwards and than we went up.

58.000 ft gone in 60 sec. :)
At more than 60.000 ft we went a bit head down. Backflying without gravity feels like the earth is on top of us, impossible to describe te endorphines!

The sun in dark blue space and the earth obviously a ball (no disc).

At 4.6 G I gave up :S no idea how Mr. Bond took 9 G !?

With a sequence of questions, the pilot checked if I´m fully consciousness.
"Mr. S. are you ready for the stick?"
"Yes, Mr. B. I´m ready for the stick!"
Aprox. 50.000 hp in my right hand, faster than a bullet, still speeding up.
3 min later I transfered the stick back to enjoy again a professionel pilot-

now over 2000 kph at 15.000 ft (just 7 sec away from touch down)

Little show for my friends: Mach 1 close over ground.
First they saw the plane, a bit later they heard the sound.

The normal fight time is 40 min. I decided to go mach 2+, than it´s 25 min. The most critical aircraft on fuel in the world.
After 22 min we were running out of fuel (600 litre/ min)

The pilot has realy pushed it up to the limits.

It´s logic to want to jump a rocket in a wingsuit, isn´t it? B|

The Lightning's speed and climb performance were excellent not just by 1950s or 1960s standards but even compared with modern operational fighters. Its initial rate of climb was 50,000 ft per minute (15 km/min). The Mirage IIIE climbed initially at 30,000 ft/min (9 km/min), the MiG-21 managed 36,090 ft/min (11 km/min), and the Tornado F-3 43,000 ft/min (13 km/min).

[...]

In 1984, during a major NATO exercise, Flt Lt Mike Hale intercepted an American U-2 at a height which they had previously considered safe from interception. Records show that Hale climbed to 88,000 ft (26,800 m) in his F3 Lightning. Hale also participated in time-to-height and acceleration trials against F-104 Starfighters from Aalborg. He reports that the Lightnings won all races easily, with the exception of the low level supersonic acceleration, which was a dead-heat.

Edit: Too bad you run so quickly out of fuel...

Did you puke? ;)

cost me AFF to pilot.
20'' to 4000m
low pass at 850km/h 10m over ground
29' flight time
max G was 7.5 ( I had G pants , pilot nothing, ''Robi, if I take G pants , you'll be sleeping''! )
The G meter is in the uper left corner.
Plane Mig 21
enjoy ;)

:)
That´s five times body weight on the back [:/]

20 years Pan Head (rigid frame)

thousands of jumps on power boats

no wonder I´ve got slipped discs :S

thats why I love wingsuit flying- no hard openings anymore :)

I also like to go in a MIG 21

Senator Lyndon Johnson attends a meeting where the politicians are reacting to the news of Sputnik's 1957 launch. Senator Johnson asks "Is it their [the Soviets] German scientists that got them up there first?". At that moment, the "German scientist" (a composite character, heavily patterned on Wernher von Braun) responds: "No Senator... our Germans are better than their Germans."

That´s why I like Russian and US aircrafts after 1945 ;)
