kharkness 0 #1 June 2, 2008 So I did my first flight this weekend, and it is just incredible. I cant even describe how it felt. I still have a perma smile on. I liked it so much that I did 5 more this weekend. Now I know what its like to be addicted to nylon crack. The Sky's not the limit, the ground is. Fear Nothing, Regret Less. scootstevens 0 #11 June 4, 2008 I also took to the sky with my GTI for my first flight a couple weeks ago from a caravan! After reading Scotty's book I blasted off into full flight with a massive smile Anyone else terrified in the plane? How about that deployment process! I had a bad twist on one of my first jumps because i was a little off balance on deployment. No chop. Anyway I've done about 10 now, and have a new love for clouds! Hagen 0 #12 June 4, 2008 I was nervous already on the ground but in the plane having Jari beside was kind of relaxingI did 5 or 6 jumps in tracking suit before it, so the deployment position was rather familiar for me - and therefore I'm stable in it, at least by now so I actually got my permission for solo jumps only after my third jump under supervision of my examiner. also my exits are still shiity but I hope to improve the skills nearest time
