mccordia 73 #2 February 25, 2008 The suit there are PIA promo suits from what I get. Designs will probably be finalised before release. S8 is the orange one. Balance seems off (armwings too big in relation to the legwing) Tengu is the red/white suit, seems to resemble a Blade with slightly wider legstance, wings (and no scallops).JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? aarthus 0 #3 February 25, 2008 The S8 looks weird... the Tengu make more sense as suits are needed for US sizes flyers.. What's missing in manufacturer range is a small and sharp model wingsuit for fast runs and mix flights (track & ws). Patrick de Guillebon
piisfish 135 #4 February 25, 2008 QuoteIs it old proto's ? wich one is tengu and S8 ?Tengu is the supersized one, white-red "à la Jii. S8 is the white-orange, with the "jet fighter" wings From what I understood of the discussion I had with LouDiamond in BCN, the Tengu would be a "hanging" suit and the S8 a super fast horizontal speed suit.scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
Zeemax 0 #5 February 25, 2008 Your photos are named the wrong way round, as others have mentioned Both look interesting suits. Will be good to see them in the nylon and maybe put a couple of jumps on them. LouDiamond 1 #6 February 26, 2008 I just got back in the USA from Spain last night so I'm gonna be quick. The Orange suit is the S8 and the white and red one is the Tengu. Besides those two new suits, expect to see several small changes on all the current suits in the line. Details can be found on Birdman's new website in the coming days. If a trip I have to Thailand doesn't interfere, I should have all of the suits you see in the PIA picture thread at F & D 4.0 available to demo."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
