This is probably not applicable to wingsuits.
How nature equiped birds to deal with induced drag

The following link shows stream lines around an airfoil as the angle of attack is varied. Note the position of the stagnation point.

Shows streaklines the stagnation point for an airfoil at 0, 15 and 30 degrees. Note where the stagnation point is at zero angle of attack.
