Puerto Rico photos online

Recommended Posts

Beautiful pics! Now I am really pissed I didn't bag my Vegas trip and go to PR instead. Oh well, at least I got 1 jump in at Mesquite from a 182 from 8,000. Almost as good as a week of flocking in Puerto Rico....no?

Note to self: go to Keys and Puerto Rico boogies next year!!!!

Second note to self: next time you go to Vegas don't drop $650 in the casino so you have more $$$$ to to first note to self [:/]

Mike was jumping a blue/black Mach 1.

If you missed PR this year then you missed one incredible time. Great weather, non stop jumping, amazing flocks, docked 4 ways, 2up 2down stacks, beach flocks, free beer, free rum drinks, free food, great parties .. the list goes on and on.

Gray Mike, Purple Mike, Professor, FlyinBob, Turtle, Danny, Shannon, Jean, Jeff N, Matt H, Scotty B, Scott and Gary Gray ... who am I missing? ... What a great time! I'm bruised, sore, tired and my liver aches .. let's do it again!

Jason and Viviana did an amazing job getting the event together and made us flockers feel right at home.

Jeff N. trained many students in his Tony Suits and made many sales .. new flockers!! Scott and Gary Gray plus MANY others ... Meanwhile Jeff N perfected his new "flying crotch munch" move using me as the victim while trying to hit Gray Mike with his "empty water bottle of death". His earlier "flying chewing gum" ejection claimed no victims. ;)

Matt "sd" Hoover and Scotty "HD" Burns took incredible photos, although with such good-looking subjects it's hard not to. ;)

I'm already planning on being there next year. WOO-HOO!

Scott

and all this time PR means Puerto Rico (smacks forehead) makes sense now!

I almost think the canopy shots are better than the formation shots. I'm surprised with that many f**ckers only a few of the less photogenic ones (read -"rigs") made it in.

guess it is time to sell more shots to PS and SD mags
;) well deserved.

Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

I tell ya what I'm missing, to be in some some crisp photos like those..... at least one for the new avitar.

What does "SD" and "HD" stand for? "Shallow dive" and "hard deployment" ?

Puerto Rico was awesome for the third year in a row. The worst part was returning to the winter wasteland of home.

Thanks Jeff, Scotty, Scott, Matt, & all the other wingsuit guys for a great time and truely awesome flocks over the beachs of PR. You guys made my brother, Scott, & I feel very welcome into your group.

Hope to join you for Flock & Dock!

Awesome Matt!!!
Can’t say much more than what has already been said except thank you for combining your excellent photographic and flying skills to give us these most excellent results.

Also, thanks to you, Scotty, and the other camera fliers for providing the group with all the video for the debriefs. That sure made for some great feedback.

THANKS to:
Scott for all the organizing and flying a supremely skilled base,

Everyone from all over the country who joined in the flock and tried not to take him out too bad, ;)

Jason and Viviana who put on one helluva top-notch boogie and to our local Puerto Rican birds who shared their island and made us feel so welcome,

Everyone for all the great vibes, and,

The weather gods who smiled upon us.

Definitely looking forward to PR next year. Before then though, hope to see you all, new friends and old, at F&D!
Blue Skies,
mike

Very nice shots Matt. I'll expect to see some of those in the mags, especially the shots of the coast.Great job.:)

Thanks!

I think we met a long lost member of your family down there. Scott Bland and I got a ride back from the beach to the DZ in a rusty old tow truck driven by a shriveled old man who didn't speak a word of English. When we were saying our goodbyes he gave me his business card... his name - Georgino Campos! :D
