Well Summerfest is offcially over. It ended yesterday,early for some, as the threat of bad weather caused some to leave. However, after a short summer storm, the sky cleared up and we jumped as usual all day. Overall, attendance appeared to be up over last year and a lot of fun was had again. Lots of new birds were added to the flock, 18 in total. I finally got to meet the Kiwi DZ.com crew as well as others. I suspect there were even more DZ.commers here than I met as every time I saw a laptop screen or monitor dz.com was on it. We closed the boogie out with a large group of us going to DonVitos restaurant and having a meal with Rook and anyone else who wanted to go. Aside from the stiffiling heat in the beginning, this was an excellent boogie.
