Looks like this unit might be useful to measure ground sped when you plane out from a swoop, (or ground speed when you are swooping a ski slope in a wingsuit), but the info is too sketchy to tell if it could anything for vertical speed, (and it tops out at 62mph). The manufacturers website is useless, and most of the Google searches I did come back with German or Dutch pages.
