Treejumps 0 #51 November 6, 2003 Finally, someone I can borrow a birdman suit from. I'm 6'10' , but I'm sure that it will fit. If you would like to see that suit fly off of a cliff, it can be arranged. Tree BASE610
TallGuy 0 #52 November 6, 2003 You know I've been hearing about another skydiver in my airspace that goes by the nickname "Tree" I wonder if it's you. Back in High School that was one of the many nicknames I went by. So you've never borrowed a BirdMan suit before and now you want to borrow mine to go base jumping? Gee I don't know it's still kind of new and it'd be a shame to get it all torn up and blood stained. But if we ever are at the same DZ I'd be happy to let you take it out at a reasonable altitude with propper training from an instructor.
Treejumps 0 #53 November 7, 2003 I've flown a wing suit, it just didn't fit that well. No big deal. The only reason I want one is for big wall base. So like I said, if you would like to see your suit fly off a cliff..... Cya.
nightjumps 1 #54 November 9, 2003 You've come a long way in a short time, Kevin. I remember you testing the Birdman suit at WFFC the day after we met and now you are one. Most excellent. Big Guys can fly.
firediver 0 #55 November 9, 2003 QuoteYou obviously aren't aware of my propensity for doing stupid stuff worthy of new nicknames. Allow me to demonstrate. http://home.comcast.net/~kevintown/real_bad_idea.wmv You must have Windows Media Player 9 to view this. Clearly, this was a bad idea. The blonde should have been in front to take the brunt of the impact (and to blow the bikini right off her) Skydiving isn't scary;...but clowns...CLOWNS are scary!
