Free Flying competition in Germany

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I rarely (never) come to the Free Fly forum as my LARGE center of gravity makes Belly Flying my speciality.

I understand that there is competition in Germany for Free Flying and an old friend of mine is in hospital and hoping for updates on some of the Canadian competitors are doing.

Is there a website that I can go to for information or is there some other avenue to get updates?

Thanks, Ian

There isn't much coverage on the AE events.
I have been asked by several people for the draws.
I have requested the draws (since they aren't lsited anywhere) from the organizing committe as well as the US Head of Delegation.
I will post them when they become available.:)AE is off to a very slow start, mostly due to weather issues in Gera. I am hoping that they can complete the meet, but its looking like most are just finishing round 3.

They may be further along than we know. They only post scores at the end of day.
They did not set up Omniskore with internet access>:(.

I also tried to find a replacement reporter for Liz, who had to cancel.
If anyone knows anyone out there, that is just hanging out and has email access, then have them email me reports info etc.
I'll put that up on OmniSkore.

I have just copied the results from freeflying. Three first rounds are completed. The competition ends at 1800 today and right now it does'nt look like the weather is going to let us jump any more. Dark solid clouds covers the whole sky.

som super sweet freeroutines has been shown here at the world meet. Jok'air and Babylon were super impressive, head-to-head eagles ++ + + . Italia also super nice, with blind tracking. The level of freeflying is really high. Nice to see so many teams really fighting for the better score.

Hopefully it clears enough to get round 4 complete so that the Great Britain 1 can overtake Norway and move into 5th Place :)

Oh - and does anyone know why funkflyz aren't competing this year.

Last I heard was that they'd more or less done what they wanted in freestyle and were moving onto other projects (creative videeo and freefly). I believe the camera man moved to Norway with his girlfriend. Nils is still living in his van and is very active.

Nils will be present at the Danish freefly meet august 17 – 20. Gonna see if I can get some coaching.

Sorry for this dumb question, but is there anywhere a website where I can see all sie FF-Moves and more on pic's? Something like the RW divingpool?
Thx
