rrmtopo 1 #1 June 27, 2014 Marketing appears to be directed towards the military so it might be expensive, but great low profile snag-less case design. [inline Mohoc_1.jpg] [inline Mohoc_2.jpg]
Hellis 0 #2 June 27, 2014 So what is military optimized? Does the computer say 'Sir, yes sir!' when you plug in the USB cable instead of the generic 'duh duh' sound?
parachutist 1 #3 June 28, 2014 It's gonna get a lot of helmet in that shot, if it's wide angle 170 degrees like we're accustomed to for GoPro, or even with 120 I expect. It can't really be that far back on the helmet *and* lens flush with the top of the helmet
GrumpySmurf 0 #4 June 7, 2016 While trying to find info on this camera, I stumbled upon this thread. Noticed no update since 2014. I since grabbed one and am using it for PGing -> was concerned about the possibility of helmet in frame when shooting video. Posted up links in the blog with a link to a) video: http://flyinorange.blogspot.ca/2016/06/paragliding-video-raw-mtwoodside-bc.html b) photos: http://flyinorange.blogspot.ca/2016/05/westcoastsoaringclub-flybc-paragliding.html You'll notice no helmet in frame for video but there is for stills. Guest #6 August 20, 2018 I like the design (it looks as though it almost cannot snag), but man, is it ever pricey. The ParaGear page selling this says that it "cannot be exported" Is this gizmo under ITAR (arms control) restrictions or something? mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
