the video is made by a deaf guy that does reviews for gopro's and its accessories. i like how the filter saturates colors and deepens the blue skies. what do you think?

I don't expect they would.
A similar result can be achieved with Rosco gel. Ask your local theatre supplier for a Rosco sample swatch. Take the polarizing gel, use a US nickel as the template, cut cleanly with a razor.
Put it in the lens housing prior to putting the camera in the plastic body.
