canon 15mm fisheye

I was getting ready to buy a Canon fisheye lens and have noticed that it is discontinued for some reason. Is Canon going to produce another 15mm fisheye or is there any place I can get one. What's up?

Check out B&H Photo's site- a quick search for 15mm fisheye brought up the below... currently a little over 600.00

Yeah I seen that one. That's the one I probably will get now. I'm asking I was going to get a Canon. But its disountiued. Why was it and what's Canon doing. That's a great lens.

The MSRP is almost never what you'll pay out in the wild. I got this lens for less than the equivalent Sigma brand lens.

It is discontinued but move fast and get yours from B&H.
Canon replaced it with the 8-15mm F4 L lens.

I like the Sigma 15mm a lot. Not quite as much barrel distortion as the Canon.
