Don't forget to jump a Velo 84 on your next jump or else you won't be cool enough! ;)

But on a serious note, have you ever jumped with that body?

hold on there dude.

that side mount has to go!!! don't you know that's a serious hazard? riser strike will knock that right off!!

other than that, I don't see anything of concern. get that sorted out and you're good to go!!

I have another 20D body that I actually jump. I've been kind of afraid to jump my 7D as it's my main body and I'm a student at a photography school so I'm using it constantly and don't want to hurt it. However, I'm planning on shooting a short doc on skydiving and want to shoot purely DSLR video so I think I'll be jumping it soon. Sans the grip of course.

Just use the 3M sticky tape and mount the Go Pro on the end of the telephoto. That should work.
