Hellis 0 #3 August 1, 2010 Good camera. The mount you get with the camera is not recomended. IMHO you should either use the 720p mode or 1080p with a wideangle lens. 1080 without wideangle is not enough. Its not as good as the GoPro when it comes to windnoise, but who uses the audio from a jump anyway? The aiminglasers are very handy. As DSE says there are a few threads about it in the past. Is it anything special you want to know about the camera?
shropshire 0 #4 August 1, 2010 I love mine .. it's no a PRO camera (but neither is the joke/toy ..GO-PRO - which I think is 'kin ugly). I use the Contour a lot - it's small - low profile and at £250 cheap as chips. If you want to sell stuff to the BBC, buy something else.. If you want to have fun and record 'some stuff'. It's great. Hellis 0 #5 August 1, 2010 Why do you record/render in 480? You have a 1080p camera and you only use 480p? Two of my more serious videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXoOD8dQZrQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwmNrvP7asw Even if youtube has the best flashvideo quality its not even close to the real video. Hellis 0 #7 August 1, 2010 I dont think its when you uploaded it. If the sourcefile is 1080, youtube will make it 1080. Are you sure the file you renderd is 1080?
