ReyNier 0 #1 June 3, 2010 Has anybody got a solution for a bite-, tongue- or blowswitch for a Panasonic Lumix GF1 ? The jack seems to be a standard 2.5mm pin but no remote (that I know) works with the thing. Thanks for info ...
pilotdave 0 #2 June 3, 2010 Probably need to start with the panasonic remote switch (DMW-RSL1) and solder to the switch of your choice. Dave
Peterkn 17 #3 June 3, 2010 This website: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/601876 shows you how to make a DIY equivalent of the DMW-RS1 - not sure if this electrically the same as the one used by the GF1, but might be worth a try.
ReyNier 0 #4 June 4, 2010 ' have done that already but the Panasonic switch has got fiber cables (3) and "our" switches have got 2. Can't solder the fiber to the "normal" cabels .... thanks anyway
ReyNier 0 #5 June 4, 2010 Thx Peter, looks fantastic and might work ... I'm just not techy enough to follow that. Seems there is no easy solution for the case. The cam will have to do serial exposures ... thx
