Basjkall 0 #1 September 17, 2008 I am having trouble with my camera (Canon HF 100) In terminal speed the picture gets all wrinkly and unstable. Tried to seal it completely to get sure no wind gets into it, but even though it was a little bit better, it still is not fine. It has optical image stabilizer. I have one last ting to try after I have sealed it, and that is to turn of the stabilizing assist. I hope it will work... Anybody?

A few people have had some luck disassembling their camera and gluing down the stabilizer so it can't dance around in freefall, but it doesn't look like an easy procedure. (Just turning it off will not necessarily "freeze" it.)
