Tree_in_a_seed 0 #1 August 16, 2007 ... On a full face mountain bike helmet is what I'm interested in doing. It's an HC5 and obviously it would be a top mount. Has anybody done this here? If so what have you people done and also if not any suggestion on how this could be done? I'm not interested in using a D-box. I was thinking perhaps boneheads universal camera topper combined with one of their camera straps.
tetra316 0 #2 August 18, 2007 Go to your local metalworks shop and have them make you a custom aluminum bracket. Bolt it to your helmet and use a screw and straps to secure the camera. Cheap and effective. (That's what I did for my skydiving camera helmet anyways)

Cameralife when mounted unprotected from wind, moisture and small bumps etc is a lot shorter then when you mount it properly inside a Dbox.JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
