Are there any country songs that are moderately decent for editing tandem vids to? I am now living/jumping in Texas, have NEVER listened to country, and have had more requests for it from customers in the last two months than I had in 3 years. :S Any help would be great. Thanks again!

Clay Walker "Countrified"
Dixie Chicks "Sin Wagon"

I always thought the song "Falling Upside Down" by Rascal Flatts might work, too...

I just listened to a clip on ITunes of that..it's 2:33. I like to keep my music around 3:30-4:00 minutes...but I'm sure I can make it work;)

I was thinking the first verse/chorus... then cut to something else...

"country music" is an oxymoron

It's got lyrics, a melody and a rythym... so it's got cRAP beat right there!! :D

the two absolute worst organised noises ever produced with intention to please.

i am sorry you have to work where people want country music. i really am.

Yeah, it kinda sucks. There is one tandem instructor that usually puts them up to it 'cuz he knows I don't have any and I don't care for it. There have been a fair amount of customers that say that they only listen to it. Being here in Houston I can understand it, but it still doesn't make me any happier about it. I don't HAVE to use it, but I like to try to havce something to offer all of my customers. Thanks to everybody who has offered songs..I will check into them.

Waylon Jennings - Theme from Dukes of Hazzard. It's kind of short, but might fit alright. If you've got a mellower crowd, bluegrass might be acceptable. Try Bela Fleck if bluegrass is the way to go.

Or, try Buckwheat Zydeco.

If you just want stock music and don't really care for a particular popular tune, try 5 Alarm Music. They have a crapload that might be good.

If you do go to 5 Alarm Music, search all of the libraries for...

"Adrenaline Rush"

It'll return a series that has one entitled "Plaintive slide guitar intro to rodeo theme with a club makeover on a Ska rhythm". Try that on for size.

Also search for "Electrified Heartland".

Good stuff, most of the time.
