bigdad510 1 #3 April 19, 2007 I have one and use it for skydiving. It is a bit wide. I tried it side mounted and it sticks out too far. I have mine mounted on a Skydance Sonic. I can fit both the 96 and a Digital Rebel mounted on the top side by side. I started with the HC36, and it was very good, but had no LANC. But the 96 does. It shoots great video. I use manual focus on sports mode, witha .45 wide angle lense, and it works great!Brad
ncfitzge 0 #4 May 4, 2007 I use my 96 as a side mount and it isn't too bad. Check out the Cookie helmets for it.#148 Sonic Scrat "Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the eyes?" Woodpecker pulling out his pants pockets to the waitress

bigdad510 1 #6 May 8, 2007 I agree, way to wide to be side mounted. I jumped the 36 (same size) side mounted "once" and that's all i took to convince me to top mount it.Brad
