skymoo 0 #1 March 9, 2007 Hi all! I've finally received my HC3 box from the guys at Tonfly. It looks nice, but it is VERY tight. I will oven it for a looser fit, and post pictures when all is mounted. The good thing for now, os that it does not leave the buttons exposed at all; a completely closed box. Anyway, I am wodering if any of you have figured out how to remove the handstrap from the Sony HC3 camera (HC-3) in a way that you can install it again. I find it helpful when recording BASE jumps and other instances where the camera is in your hands recording over a huge fall! Let me know your experience with this cheers to all!http://www.childrenofthesky.com Freefly!
NoPush 0 #2 March 16, 2007 I don't have a service manual for the HC-3 (no one has broken one yet in Northern Cali) ....... On most newer Sonys you need to split the case to un-screw the bracket that holds the hand strap. I don't how practical it would be to keep removing and replacing the stap.
