Battery for Cannon XTI

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Impact brand NB-2LH battery for the digital rebel XTI. I see that B&H sells them and it has a higher mAh rating and is half the price. Is it any good or is it still better to go with the genuine Canon battery?

Thanks

Don't know about that brand specifically, but ever since I've been using digi stills and digi video cams I've been using off-brand batteries to supplement the original the camera came with. Most work even better than the original, and all worked fine :)

Me too. Works especially well when they are 1/4 the price or less than name brand. I buy four and rotate them in. Always have plenty power.
