Think all the single element lenses are pretty much the same.

No way. I have an old .3 (doesn't say which brand it is) that is crap as soon as you zoom in even a little. With the WayCool .3 you can zoom a fair bit more before it gets blurry. Not that you should zoom a single element lens anyway, but definately a big difference.

I would estimate that I can push my zoom out to about .45 before mine "fuzzes out". I do all my "in your face" ground and plane stuff at .3, but push it out as far as it will go for the freefall portion of most of my camera jumps. The only exception is when I shoot my own handheld tandem videos or am flying my camera for "inside" AFF. I shoot at .3 for those.
