Camera Condom Website

I need a camera condom for the Sony 1000. I see paraservice.com sell camera condoms but not for this camera. Does anyone know a site I can get one for this camera?

You might try www.paragear.com, i think i saw camera condoms in their catalogue lthough i'm not sure if they have the one you're looking for.

Thanks but that website is down. On paraservice.com these are listed as available Sony camera condoms:
Sony PC1, PC5, PC7, PC9, PC10, PC100, & PC110.

Anyone any ideas would any of these fit the PC 1000?

You might try these guys. They do "camdoms" for pc, trv, and still cameras. I have not dealt with them yet so I'm not sure if they still make them or if they make a good product but from their website it looks pretty good.

I made one for my HC42 by butchering a neoprene wetsuit vest; I had no luck whatsoever finding supplies of neoprene off a roll.

It took a few goes with paper mock-ups working out how to do it with the minimum number of seams. An ordinary sewing machine had no trouble sewing through 2 layers of neoprene - I used a zig-zag to allow the neoprene to stretch without popping the thread.

Here is a US source for neoprene. They sell it by the foot (12" X 51") for a pretty reasonable price. I, however, have no desire to try and reinvent the wheel if I don't need to...I've already pm'd Chrissay to see if she is still making them.
