Clownburner 0 #2 April 29, 2003 The word was they were supposed to start shipping around the beginning of May, so I'd guess it'd be any time now, if they're on track.. I'd like to see one also.7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth

kevin922 0 #9 April 29, 2003 I already got mine on order :) Can't wait.. Some things I do know about it : It records based on time, not on jump # forinstance where the protrak records detailed info for the last 10 jumps, the neptune records detailed info till it can't anymore (not sure the total amount of time it can record).. this is important with birdman jumps as some of our jumps exceed the record time for the protrak. The software will be out in september but they don't know if it will be free or not, you beam your info via infra red port. Software updates to the firmware are free, again it is done through infra red port.

SkydiveMonkey 0 #21 April 30, 2003 either way, still cheaper than bluetooth. and why do you need 12 MB/s + when a Ir diode on something like that won't be able to transmit at those speeds? ____________________ Say no to subliminal messages
