Kid_Icarus 0 #5 June 29, 2005 Will any USB work? assuming it doesn't have a filter? ________________________________________ "What What.....
cvfd1399 0 #6 June 29, 2005 A regular one will work. There are ones out there that have the same plug style, but have the wires internally crossed up. Also there are all sizes of plug for usb. Did you download and install the driver and it still does not work?

cvfd1399 0 #8 June 29, 2005 Try using the cable on something else if you can. You say you bought it used, can you find out anyway that it was working before you got it?

Freefly69 0 #14 June 30, 2005 USB works only for Pics eh? I'm having the same problem with my PC101. I tried to use the cable that came with the camera. One end USB and the other fits into the camera. I take it I need to buy a firewire adapter so I can plug my 4 pin 4 pin firewire cable into the PC? Expect Nothing. Be Ready For Anything! pope 0 #15 June 30, 2005 QuoteUSB will only work in Photo mode. (aka memory stick) If you want ot access video on the tape you will need to use Firewire. USB is painfully slow anyhow. Future reference: If you're having trouble with your maching recognizing your camera-make sure you try restarting with your camera connected in VTR mode at some point--often has worked for me... pope
PhreeZone 15 #16 June 30, 2005 Exactly. Get a firewire card for your PC and then a 6-4 pin firewire cable and you are set. Hint, the cheapest card is built around the same standard as the most expensive card Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
