post your best shot

Recommended Posts

Some shots of me chasing a few of the demo team practicing building a downplane... I wish I was more with it when they finally took off but some of the setup shots were really nice...

Those shots are sweet! What lens?

I think all three of them were shot with my Nifty 50mm f/1.8...

I was shooting for somewhere in the middle of the lens and each of them appear to be in the f/4-5 range...

I've got a few more available here:

although one of them was shot with my Canon 10-22@22mm.

Awesome, I've been wanting to take my 50mm airborne for a while, but with no ringsight, I haven't really wanted to (potentially) waste my time... hopefully I'll find a fun jump to go play with it soon...
It's all fun and until someone loses an eye... then it's just a game to find the eye

That's one of the reasons I have a ringsight... I haven't taken my higher focal length lenses out for freefall shots... although I have considered it...

This thread has no business on page 2...

We had our second OSU weekend... over the weekend we did over 100 tandems and almost 100 AFF Cat A jumps...

Here are some of my favorites...

Looks like he passed...

My work here is done...

He really shouldn't be doing that...

From a few years back.

The picture with the plane in the back, World Freefall convention and we planned it. Second attempt.

The second, with 8mm fish eye on 10d 0r 20d circa 2004. So close I almost got slapped by Chris.(on left)

I remember that 1st shot, "cover of the video box wffc 2003" Very nice shot pete . What a great time that was! I heard peachy and her mom were telling me there is rumor of another convention might be brewing.
I don't think it'll happen for awhile in this economy.

I like the 1st shot with the pac in the dive, Beautiful colors!
I love being behind the camera but thats the problem, we get excited when someone gets a cool shot of us .
Glad i got something for you.
I remember Norman Kent called me a couple weeks after the convention because he knew i had some nice shots of him. Made me feel pretty good :)
